Most of us have given balloons as a gift at birthdays or hospitalizations and used them as party decorations. I am so glad they have a balloon inflating machine these days for those of us who just do not have the stamina to blow up balloons any more but it is just as easy to me to order them to be delivered with flowers, cookies or other gift basket items. It’s a lovely gift that people like and all I have to do is choose and pay and wait for the thank you so it is quite easy for me. That way someone else has to worry if they are going to blow away or pop during transportation instead of me

I like orange and black balloons (with lots of streamers) for Halloween, green for St Patrick’s day (with green carnations), red and white for Valentine’s Day (with either roses or white & red carnations and cookies are marvelous with them too), a variety of pastel colored balloons for Easter (with cookies and candy), blue for Mothers Day (my favorite color is blue and I love blue carnations too), more blue for birthdays with cookies and red and/or green for Christmas (fudge and cookies are marvelous treats and stuffed animals tied to the strings are a really nice touch for people who collect stuffed animals).
